McKinney Fire Rages Across California-Oregon Border

The McKinney Fire is a massive fire across the California-Oregon border that is spreading rapidly, and it is already California’s largest this year. You can also find a gallery of pictures at the end of the article. 

The fire is truly spreading explosively, as it has reached a size of 56,000 acres in just four days. The fire is located in Northern California near the Oregon border, in the northern section of Siskiyou County. The main area has already sparked multiple other small fires, creating the Yeti Complex Fire. The Yeti Complex Fire is made up of the Yeti Fire and the Kelsey Creek Fire. The group of fires near the Klamath National Forest have also sparked evacuations near the town of Yreka, and 4 people are already dead.
